2007-2008 Auditions
6 Concert Season – Programs in Jordan Hall & Regis College
Rehearsals: Monday evenings, 7-10pm at Devotion School in Brookline (Tuesday nights when Monday is a holiday).
Devotion School, Brookline, MA, 345 Harvard Street – T Accessible (Coolidge Corner T stop, then 2 Blocks North of Beacon Street, top floor of school)
Audition dates:
Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1,
Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8
10 a.m. ~ 4 p.m. at New England Conservatory

Warmup rooms are available 15 minutes prior to your audition.
Scholarships are available to current music students and stipends are awarded based on financial need, technical skills, and musicality. Applications will be available to applicants who are offered a position with Civic Symphony and demonstrate personal and professional commitment.

Advanced string players in all sections Percussion
The audition is approximately 15 minutes long with the following requirements:
- · short solo (preferably from a concerto)
- · standard orchestral excerpts (preferably with at least 1 from Civic's 07-08 season repretoire)
- · sightreading
- · brief interview with the personnel manager (only for applicants who pass the audition)
